FIG TREE YOGA
I have trained and certified as an Integral Yoga Instructor with the Integral Yoga Academy of Australasia (IYAA).
Living and breathing Yoga since childhood, I came to it naturally, following my deep desire and natural wisdom of movement and undulation. The immersion into the Full Integral Yoga (Teaching) Diploma Course opened me up to experience my body mind and spirit more fully and to unite (yoke/yoga), leading me later onto the path of Tantra....and the 'path of no path'.
The chief objective of the training I completed was to offer guidelines towards the actual EXPERIENCE of Yoga, an experience that not only enhances the quality of life of the practitioner but also those with whom I come into contact. This appeals to my way of life and I have been diving deeply into the experience of Yoga and enhancing the quality of life in my body.
The style of yoga I hold space for is very personal and it is Wild Integral Yoga, with the objective not being to 'clone' students into fixed so-called 'correct' ideas but to assist the student in becoming an integrated individual 'Yogic cell', to explore sensations in each posture, to be playful, to undulate and melt tension. Just how I started as a child with it, I invite my students to explore their innocent playfulness through yoga and also be my teachers.
Yoga is part of my somatic focused sessions and classes, as you can read about more on the previous page.
I teach one on one classes, weaves it into my sessions and facilitates group classes at retreats.
